Spiders

This work is the result of a research process with glass. What started out as a game of experimentation took shape and context over time. As he developed the pieces, they began to acquire the shape of spiders. And so, as he built more spiders, his installation resembled a spider web.

While researching this subject, I learned that across different cultures, spiders are viewed as weavers of fate and have both creative and destructive powers. The spider web is presented as the bridge between the world of dreams and the real world, our physical and emotional part, the masculine and feminine side, the earthly and the spiritual, and the past and the future.

This installation represents the network through which my work with glass allowed me to connect my thoughts and emotions with the outside world.
